Happy New Year, everyone. My name is Anne. I teach (very) young learners in a small English conversation school (eikaiwa) in Shiga Prefecture in Japan. My students are between 3 and 14 years old, but mostly on the younger side. I am very interested in reflective practice as a way to help me develop as a teacher and also as a way to create a reflective and non-judgmental atmosphere in my workplace where we can all help each other develop. I look forward to learning with and from everyone here!
Hello Anne, nice to meet you! :)
ReplyDeleteOlya Sergeeva Nice to meet you, too!
ReplyDeleteDear Anne, I am so excited to be taking the course together with you! Learn so much from your blog, and can't wait to co-reflect on our practices in the coming course! Creating reflective and non-judgmental atmosphere is something I constantly keep working on in my classroom (and life?)
ReplyDeleteZhenya Polosatova Zhenya! :) I'm so happy to see you here. I can't wait to learn together with you in this course. I already learn so much from you.
ReplyDeleteA belated welcome from me. I am thrilled that so many people want to learn about creating a non judgmental atmosphere.
