Humility- modesty / lack of pride -> is successful.
If our classroom is our heaven and we (teachers) help and shine light to our students-> it means we have a noble job to do.
I LOVE the words used to desribe the teacher and the teaching:
Teacher: responsible "adventurer", learner, rigorous
Teaching: joyful, serious, scientific, physical, emotional, affective, a task that requires commitment and LOVE.
We are not here to compete but to help.... I wonder how many aspects and perspectives we can get when a group of like minded teachers reflects on a recorded piece of heaven of our class. The enjoyment to share the ideas and thoughts is priceless. What we gain? We gain practical ways to make lessons more effective, small changes but big results and new alternatives, lots of new alternatives.
