Looking at the 1st transcript - the speaking activity, I like how the teacher slowly develops the activity, and there are few things I would add: I would use a picture of the ad, would write a diagram with the students' answers where this ad could be found, and write all the questions about the speaking activity I want to explore with the students so they can see them and prepare the possible answers in their heads.
The other way is- to draw the MAN and the WOMAN, and explain why they draw it like that.
The other activity can be: What happened next, after they met.....

    I hope you get this. I am doing in privately rather than on the Communities icon

    Pictures and diagrams and writing the questions all I think would produce more student language. Focusing on her one point did not lead to much language use or engagement with what is a topic of great interest I think.
