SOLO TASK : "TRANSCRIPTS FOR REFLECTIVE TEACHING " Heather Thomas.
It is incredible how teachers can have the possibility to count with strategies to go over students learning processes. I consider learning a foreign language a process where students and teachers can be able to observe how a new language is built.
I have found that what it can be gained from transcribing and recording can be very useful if teachers are openminded and responsible about students´learning process. We can have the chance to be self- critical and take the best decisions about our teaching practise. It is time to embrace a practise that will lead teachers to reflection and change.

Jessica, a process indeed both for us and for our students. To observe how a language is built shows it is a process.
ReplyDeleteRe being self critical, critical so some has a negative connotation. Rather than self critical we can just look as if we are children who are ignorant and know nothing so whatever we see is new to us and we have to ask what is going on?
